“ Pastries, coffee, quiche, sandwiches, oh YES! This French bakery and coffee shop transports you to France at a local cafe. The vibes are amazing, the employees are friendly, and the indoor seating is ample. They do have handicap accessible ramps, seating, and restrooms nearby. “ Maman is a street corner coffee house and breakfast place, with a French feel. It offers a range of classic breakfast dishes and some innovative. Mid range priced. The service was a little slow on the morning I was here and the customers a bit frustrated - and the staff were overworked although they maintained smiles and a friendly approach. The food was delicious. The atmosphere city buzz. There is ramped access to the building and the front of house is all one level but the tables a little close together for easy wheelchair access. There are no washrooms. ”

The French-themed menu and homey dining room, complete with a repurposed tree swing as a window dining spot, were a pleasant surprise to find in the heart of the city. I enjoyed "maman's breakfast sandwich" – a delicious combination of bacon, egg, caramelized onions, avocado, and roasted tomatoes on a toasted brioche bun. The double espresso was excellent, and the window view made for a perfect NYC breakfast experience. The service was quick for the number of orders they were preparing. Definitely recommend! ”
